A collaboration between Special Delivery San Diego and Trader Joe's. Food donations from Trader Joe's and other local grocery stores provide Ruth Henricks and her team of volunteers to repurpose that food for people who really need it. Special Delivery provides daily meals for people who are homebound and need food delivered while also providing a grocery pantry for locals in need to come shop for their own groceries. Ruth also instructs a class once a week focused on the needs of diabetics and how better foods can improve their conditions.
